May 13, 2015 (Ottawa, ON) Rebecca Kudloo, President, was proud to announce to the delegates to the Annual General Meeting that Megan Porter of Gjoa Haven, Nunavut, is Pauktuutit’s 2015 Woman of the Year.
‘Each year, Pauktuutit honours an Inuk woman for her many contributions to her family, community and to all Inuit,’ Kudloo said. ‘This year, Megan Porter was nominated for being ‘a good role model for all youth in her community, active with community events and she volunteers on numerous occasions,’ Kudloo added.
