“Meeting Survivors’ Needs: Gender-Based Violence Against Inuit Women and the Criminal Justice System” – Interviewers

We are looking for an Inuk woman based in Nunavik who is:

  • Trauma-informed and has counselling experience and/or experience providing support for Inuit women with lived experience
  • Familiar with confidentiality protocols
  • Familiar with using a recording device for interviews and virtually upload the recorded interviews using the cloud-based application (sync.com)

The interviewers, after an orientation session, are mainly responsible for:

  • Travelling to Puvirnituq and Tasiujaq to conduct 12-15 interviews in each community
  • Attend a 2-hour virtual project orientation session
  • Meet with the project team on a regular basis throughout the contract
  • Report progress update to the project team
  • Organize several tasks and documents related to each interview (e.g., consent forms, honoraria)
